+ How long is a float session?
Our float sessions are 90 minutes long.
+ What do I wear?
We encourage you to float in the nude, as strings and ties can be distracting. You will have your own private room, including a private shower, and the environment is completely dark for your comfort.
+ What do I need to bring?
We provide everything you need for your shower (soap, shampoo, contact case/solution, towels, etc.). We advise bringing a hairbrush if you have long hair, deodorant, and anything else you may need after your shower.
+ What if I feel claustrophobic?
Floating feels more like being in outer space than being confined. You have complete control of your environment. Our float rooms are spacious (4ftx8ft or 5.5ftx9.5ft), with a light that you can control, and no locks on the doors, so you can open or close it at any time.
+ Do I have to stay in the whole time?
You can get out anytime. There aren't any latches on the tank door and you control your experience. However, we recommend staying in for the full 90 minutes to experience the full effects of floating.
+ What type of tanks do you have?
We have 3 identical float rooms that are 4ftx8ft, and 1 "Deluxe" room that is 5.5ftx9.5ft. There is a light in all the float rooms that you can control, and there’s no lock on the door, so you can open and close it as you please.
+ Can more than one person float in a tank at a time?
Unfortunately, our float rooms and float tank can only accommodate one person at a time. However, you can schedule two floats at the same time.
+ Is the water clean?
Yes! The high salt content of the water prevents bacteria and other microorganisms from surviving. We filter the water thoroughly and treat it with antimicrobial ultraviolet light for sanitation—far more than what’s done for any hot tub or swimming pool.
+ Will floating damage my hair?
No, floating will not damage your hair. If you have dyed hair, wait a week after coloring to float to ensure any excess color has rinsed out. However, if you have had a straightening treatment (e.g., keratin) or have extensions, salt may affect your treatment. Please consult your stylist if you are unsure.
+ Can I float if I just got a piercing or tattoo?
Please refer to the instructions you received for your piercing or tattoo regarding water submersion. Wait at least one month after getting a tattoo before floating to protect your art.
+ Can I float if I'm pregnant or menstruating?
Yes! Pregnant women in all trimesters can enjoy the relaxation benefits of floating, but please check with your physician first. If you're menstruating, take the same precautions as you would if you were in a swimming pool.
+ Can I float if I have problems with my ears?
If you have a perforated eardrum or other ear conditions, consult with your doctor before submerging your head in water. Follow their advice regarding water exposure.
+ What if I fall asleep in the tank?
It’s fine if you fall asleep! Some clients drift off into a peaceful sleep, and the music signaling the end of your float gradually increases in volume to wake you up. If you don’t wake up, we can turn on the filter pumps to ensure you’re gently awakened.
+ What if I experience motion sickness or seasickness often?
Some clients who are prone to motion sickness may experience mild dizziness or slight nausea during their first float, though this is rare. We want you to be aware of this possibility, but it's usually a temporary sensation.
+ Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, or miss your appointment, your card will be charged $35. We require a credit/debit card to book appointments.
+ What is your refund policy?
We offer a 30-day return period on retail items in their original condition. Refunds for gift cards and services are available within 30 days of purchase, provided they were not purchased at a discount.
+ Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance at this time, but we may in the future. For now, we accept credit, debit, or cash.
+ Will I be asked to fill out a Waiver of Liability?
Yes. You will need to complete a Waiver of Liability form, but only once. Please complete the form ahead of your visit using the provided link.
